The Story of Jamila
Jamila Yasini, a young girl from our local community, is one of the beneficiaries of SID’s Patients with Special Needs Program. She has been living with hemangioma, a condition diagnosed at Kamuzu Central Hospital in 2009.
Since 2010, Jamila has been referred to several hospitals, including Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre, in pursuit of effective treatment. SID’s support has been crucial in ensuring she receives the necessary medical care, including regular checkups and various medical supplies.
Thanks to this ongoing support, Jamila’s health has significantly improved, and she is now in a much better and stable condition.
The Story of Patuma Ali – Skin Cancer: Special Needs Program Beneficially
Patuma Ali, a young woman from Salima District, has been bravely fighting skin cancer since 2010, facing daily life challenges that seemed insurmountable. Social Islamic Development (SID) stepped in to provide the essential medical support she needed, ensuring she received regular checkups, treatment, and compassionate care.
Thanks to SID’s support, Patuma’s health has greatly improved. She now feels much better and can smile again. Patuma’s story highlights the importance of accessible healthcare. Our efforts have not only improved her health but also given her hope for a brighter future. With your support, we can continue making a difference in the lives of many more like Patuma.
